Sales Reminder from the Street Vendor

Sometimes increasing net profits can be as simple as asking.

As a good small business owner you should know what your break even number is each month. The “get past this in sales and the rest is ours number.” After you get past the percentage margins and all of the other fancy stuff you hear about in accounting the reality you face each month is having enough money left over to get paid.

Whether you sell pizza, mow lawns or prepare taxes, devote some extra time to developing your own “do you want fries with that?”.

Turning a $10 sale into a $13 one even one out of every three transactions adds up to some breathing room each month.
